We are one of the leading private water utility organizations in Malaysia and due to growth, we seek an experienced water engineer to join our expanding water resources team, to be based in Sabah, East Malaysia.

*Senior Water Engineer*
(Sabah)

Responsibilities:
> Capable of taking responsibility over the operations and maintenance of various clean water treatment plants and ensure all M & E water assets perform in the way they should;

> For all plant upgrading works, to lead our team in all areas of project management, project planning, checking of designs from consultants, preparation of reports, cost estimates, providing input for preliminary and final construction plans and oversight of M & E aspects of construction;
>M & E Process Engineering experience or other relevant engineering background;
> Mentor more junior members of the team;
> Liaise with other companies to implement best practice ;
> A highly organised individual, you will possess outstanding communication skills. Attention to detail will be important alongside the ability to effectively lead an engineering team on specific projects;
> You will ideally be degree qualified in M & E engineering or related discipline with experience and demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety requirements; and
> You will also have strong commercial awareness with focus on cost control.

Requirements:
> Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
> At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
